Cinnamon Teal Mating Pair

While at Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge, in Monte Vista, CO., we chanced upon this stunning courting pair of spring migrants. The Male is brilliant, while the female quite dull in color. Yet her subtle coloring did not go unnoticed by her mate.
